Summer 2010!
HMS Pinafore for 10 - 18 years olds * (see note)
Auditions:
Saturday July 24th in the morning -
venue to be decided.
Sing through in the afternoon.
Rehearsals from Sunday July 25th
to Friday July 30th
Performances on Friday July 30th
and Saturday July 31st at the Art Theatre, New Mills.
Iolanthe for 18 - 30 year olds * (see note)
Please note that anyone wishing to take part in Iolanthe
will be expected to become familiar with the opera before
auditions start. All those auditioning for principal
roles should know the parts they are auditioning for!
Auditions:
Sunday August 1st (pm) with a sing-through in the afternoon.
Rehearsals: Monday August 2nd to Thursday August 5th
Dress rehearsal Friday August 6th - pm
Performances:Friday August 6th Saturday August 7th (matinee and evening)
Please note the following very important information:
*Because of increasing interest in performing with PB Theatricals,
registration for HMS Pinafore needs to be limited to participants
between the ages of 10 and 18. Participants must reach their tenth
birthday by July 31, 2010. An exception to this will be participants
from last year's production of The Pirates of Penzance who will not
be ten by July 31; they may participate in HMS Pinafore. Performers who
are 18 by July 31, 2010 may register for both HMS Pinafore and Iolanthe.
Sixteen and seventeen year-old performers and those who will not be 18 until
after July 31 interested in participating in Iolanthe may register for
the production and will be considered as casting necessities dictate.
